About Forss Versus Borg
Forss Versus Borg delivers extreme beats and soundscapes straight out of a chopped-up world of sampling and recycling. Eric Wahlforss and Carl Åborg just recently moved out of the studio, with the sole purpose to create electronic music that can be performed live, providing more room for improvisation. Together they have been touring since 2004, on the continent as well as in Africa. They both release records on Berlin based Sonar Kollektiv.
About the Stoner
The debut of the Stoner, Upp till kamp, landed in record shops late 2004. The press talks about a novel movement in nordic Jazz: “the Stoner stands at the front, staring the future of Swedish Jazz straight in the eye.” (dagensskiva.com) “Tenor sax player Nils Berg leads the quartet the Stoner with honor; he turns concepts on their sides, liberated from anything near prestige…Audiopharmaca for the People!) (Svd). “Music that holds a lot more than it excludes – there is groove, beauty and something almost naively affirmative” (DN).
